Broad
Jackie Gordon
• Iraq and Afghanistan Army veteran
• Public school teacher and mentor
• Fighter for veterans’ resources

This fearless warrior served in the armed forces for 29 years, including in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq, and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Jackie was born in Jamaica and raised in Queens; now a mother of two, her daughter currently serves in the Air Force.
She was elected to the Babylon Town Council in 2006, becoming one of only two African Americans elected to town board seats in Suffolk County since the early 1990s

This is a competitive open seat to replace the retiring Peter King (one of the two worst Kings in Congress) — so it would feel amazing for Jackie to take this seat!
